Flash Poetry Vol. 2

These Twitter posts are in the form of Japanese Senryu poems: Haiku in form, but deal with human foibles.

To The Unknown

Nature’s organized
To rules we’ve not discovered
And we must adapt

Now and Forever

Empty trophy case
Tribute to lost potential
The house is silent

In Your Wake

Wherever you tread
Spirits of your past actions
Are caught in your wake

War Never Ends

When peace at last came
Weary soldiers returned home
No one was the same

Caught in the Currents

Momentum drags us
Potential to kinetic
From peace toward war
